Glean Agents
Glean Agents is a platform vertical AI agent from Glean. A platform for building agents that work across a company's apps and run workflows, with controls for what each agent may do. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 4/5 (multi-step on its own): Glean says its independent agents own a workflow, act without being prompted and bring in a person only when a decision needs one. Several governance features are still in beta, so it is not rated a 5. Status: live; 0 incident(s) logged.

Why 4: Glean says its independent agents own a workflow, act without being prompted and bring in a person only when a decision needs one. Several governance features are still in beta, so it is not rated a 5.
What it does. Staff describe a goal in plain language and Glean builds an agent that draws on company data from more than 100 connected apps. Glean's August 2026 update adds independent agents with their own identity and scoped access, Agent2Agent support, and governance checks that flag over-provisioned write tools for moderator approval.
Where it falls short. Glean's August 2026 post describes agent identity as public beta, agent scanning as beta and agent evals as private beta. Neither source opened states a price or regions.
