# Zapier Agents (Zapier)

Zapier Agents is a standalone general AI agent from Zapier. No-code agents you describe in plain language that work across thousands of apps, on triggers or on command. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 4/5 (multi-step on its own): once configured, agents run in the background on triggers and act across connected apps, involving the user mainly when they hit a blocker; it is not 5 only because users define each agent's scope and can pause it, and not 3 because routine actions need no approval. Status: live; 0 incident(s) logged.

- Category: Work & office · general · Standalone
- What it does: You describe a goal and Zapier's copilot helps configure an agent that connects to the apps Zapier supports (over 9,000, per Zapier). Templates include lead qualification, support-ticket triage, meeting-attendee dossiers and expense sorting. Agents can be grouped into pods, and an activity dashboard logs runs and flags those needing input.
- Limits: Actions are bounded by the permissions of each connected app account. The MIT AI Agent Index found no persistent memory between sessions and no published safety evaluations. Usage is metered in 'activities' (each run capped at 10 on the free plan, 40 on Pro), and sources date general availability differently.
