Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 3/5 (multi-step, with approval): it generates code and runs multi-step builds in a sandbox, and it opens branches and pull requests that a person merges before deploy on merge; it does not act unasked, and the sources opened do not say how far it runs unattended. Since the rebuild that VentureBeat reported on 3 February 2026 it can import an existing GitHub repository, pull environment variables and settings from Vercel, and let team members create branches and open pull requests, with deploy on merge. It also connects to Snowflake and AWS databases under existing access controls.
