# Instinct (Instinct)

Instinct is a standalone general AI agent from Instinct. A text-and-phone personal assistant that books, orders and cancels for you, and in September 2026 added Concierge, which phones businesses on your behalf. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 4/5 (multi-step on its own): it is described as completing tasks such as grocery orders, cancelling subscriptions and phoning restaurants for the user. It is not 5 because the user asks for each task, and the sources do not describe approval steps. Status: beta; 0 incident(s) logged.

- Category: Personal helper · general · Standalone
- What it does: Users reach Instinct by text or phone call; VKTR reports it uses its own phone and computer for tasks such as trip planning, grocery orders and cancelling unused subscriptions. On 16 September 2026 it began an early-access rollout of Concierge, which places calls, for example to restaurants without online booking, a dentist's cancellation list or a cable bill problem. A 'trusted network' lets one user's assistant coordinate with other people's assistants.
- Limits: Access is limited to early-access users, with no price or wider date published. Neither article describes safeguards for calling or how calls are verified; Instinct says a detection system catches hallucinations before the agent acts but has published no benchmarks or error rates.
