- What it does: Typing '@Classroom' in Gemini, or letting it spot relevant context, gives it access to the user's Classroom account. Educators can have it summarise submissions and progress, draft communications and differentiated assignments, and update assignment details across classes in draft mode. Students aged 18 or over can list upcoming assignments, build study plans and create practice tests.
- Limits: Google lists what it cannot do: enter grades or give private feedback, delete, archive or directly post assignments and announcements (drafts only), or create rubrics. It is on by default for Education domains, though admins and users can switch it off.
