# Cash App Moneybot (Block (Cash App))

Cash App Moneybot is an in-app vertical AI agent from Block (Cash App). Cash App's in-app assistant that answers questions about your money and can send payments, move funds or place trades when you confirm. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 2/5 (acts when asked): it carries out single requests such as sending money or a trade, and only after the user explicitly confirms each one; it is not 3 because it does not plan multi-step tasks, and Cash App says it is not financial advice. Status: beta; 0 incident(s) logged.

- Category: Finance & investing · vertical · In-app
- What it does: Moneybot, announced on 13 November 2025 in Cash App's fall release, answers questions about spending, income and savings and generates account reports. Digital Transactions reports that it also responds to commands such as sending money, and that every payment, transfer or trade needs explicit confirmation before anything moves. It works only with Cash App accounts and funds.
- Limits: At launch it was offered to select users, with wider availability promised 'in the coming months'; no general-availability announcement was found in sources opened. Digital Transactions reports that it is not a financial-advice service. TechCrunch's account describes mostly questions and suggestions, so how far the actions have rolled out is unclear.
