# Augment Cosmos (Augment Code)

Augment Cosmos is a standalone vertical AI agent from Augment Code. A cloud platform where coding agents take work from GitHub, Slack, Linear or Jira and run code review, ticket-to-pull-request, vulnerability fixes and incident response. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 4/5 (multi-step on its own): SiliconANGLE reports that Cosmos agents do most of the execution while people handle prioritisation, specifications and high-risk decisions, and Augment's page says engineers hold the quality gates. Not a 5 because humans stay in the loop on specs and review. Status: live; 0 incident(s) logged.

- Category: Coding · vertical · Standalone
- What it does: Cosmos lets teams share context and 'experts' across agents. A request is routed to the right agent, which runs in a managed cloud sandbox or on a customer's own machines. Work can start from GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Linear, Jira, schedules or webhooks. Augment says it keeps a memory of corrections and patterns.
- Limits: Neither source opened states a price or how widely Cosmos is available, so status 'live' follows Augment's own product page. The claims about team throughput are the company's and were not independently verified.
