# ai.com (ai.com)

ai.com is a standalone general AI agent from ai.com. A consumer platform, launched with a Super Bowl advert, where you claim a handle and deploy a personal agent that works across your software. Nearfi's Agent Index rates its autonomy 2/5 (acts when asked): ai.com says agents execute actions across apps within permissions the user grants, but the examples the press release gives (trading stocks, managing calendars, updating dating profiles) are described as things users will 'soon' be able to do, so we rate only single-step action on request; not 3 until multi-step use is shown. Status: beta; 1 incident(s) logged.

- Category: General assistant · general · Standalone
- What it does: Users create a personal profile and deploy an agent that, in the company's words, 'operates on the user's behalf, organising work, sending messages, executing actions across apps'. ai.com says each agent runs in its own segregated, encrypted environment and is restricted to its user's capability limits, and that agents can build missing features that are then shared across the network. The site is labelled beta.
- Limits: Most of the headline actions (trading, workflow automation, calendar management, dating-profile updates) were described at launch as coming soon, and the capability and safety claims are the company's own. The site was overwhelmed when the advert aired and no independent hands-on test of what the agents do was found.
- Incident (2026-02-08): Traffic from ai.com's Super Bowl advert overwhelmed its website; founder Kris Marszalek posted on X: 'Insane traffic levels. We prepared for scale, but not for THIS.'
